Ive waited 25 mins on some occasions for a menu window to open or the exit options and end up forcing a shut down instead because its taking too long. The longer the sim is left the longer and slower the menus take to open. To me this seems like the symptoms of memory leak because it builds and builds but is then seemingly released once opened and that cach then cleaned as it were and its back to normal speed temporarily. how ever once it had been opened and closed if I then tried to re open that same options window it was instant for the next 10 mins or so after which the time would gradually extent again as before.
But the simulator itself doesnt check this, and will let you park everywhere. If you used GSX to go there with the 'Warp me here' menu option, it wouldnt allowed you to select it, because its a parking too small for an airliner. today for example I tried to open the weather option window after the 777 had been sitting at an airport gate for an hour or so and it took 10 mins to open the window. Re: FSX PMDG 777 cockpit issue with KJFK. worse at some high end addon airport but also prevalent in default scenery airports too just to a lesser extent in terms of the time it takes to open a window from the menu. particularly if the aircraft has been sitting on the ground for over half an hour for example. the sims response time in opening that window can be very slow. when trying to access an fsx menu such as the weather options or even the exit window. Let me read back to make sure I understand: When selecting from the product drop down list your PMDG 777 FSX-SE the Menu in the box below does not appear Or. I have always had this issue with the 777.
